Bigger and longer: At this year's Christmas market, the entire castle grounds will be transformed into a fairytale Christmas wonderland.
In addition, the market is always open on Fridays.

It will probably not snow on the coming first weekend in Advent.
Flakes could still fall on the grounds of Kaltenberg Castle.
Kaltenberg – A fantasy world based on the theme of fairy tales is being created here for the Christmas market that starts on Friday.
And Frau Holle shouldn't be missing either.
The market will be bigger and longer this year than in the past.
atmosphere and decoration
According to spokesman Markus Wiegand, around 150 people are involved in the supporting program alone.
Walk acts dressed as fairy tale characters will wander through the castle grounds.
Art installations bring scenes from the stories of the Brothers Grimm to life.
A giant beanstalk is said to grow into the sky in the castle courtyard, just like in the English fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk".
"The focus of the Christmas market is on a great atmosphere and decoration," promises Wiegand.
After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the event will be expanded this year - both spatially and temporally.
For the first time, the market, which takes place on all four Advent weekends, begins on Friday.
On this day the entrance fees are cheaper than on the weekend.

By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular
FFB newsletter.)
As big as the medieval market
Also new is that the entire castle grounds are used.
"It used to be the end of the beer garden," says Wiegand.
Now the entire Schlossstraße becomes the scene of the events.
This means that the Christmas market has the same size as the medieval market at the knight games and offers space for over 80 stalls selling arts and crafts and food.
Four of the open-air stages known from the Knights' Tournament will also be used, but not colorful and noisy like in summer, but "quieter and more Christmassy", as Wiegand says.
The site will be adorned with decorations, torches and "x kilometers of LED light chains" to create an energy-saving yet opulent Advent sea of lights.
The market should be particularly attractive for families.
Accordingly, there are many offers for children, including a fairy tale tent with a reader and a dwarf path.
The aim here is to find hidden figures of the seven dwarfs on the site.
