Citizens' income is now coming on January 1st - Federal Council agrees

Citizens' income will be introduced in Germany in the coming year.

After the agreement in the mediation committee, the Bundestag and Bundesrat decided on Friday to introduce citizen income.
This means that the new basic security can come into force on January 1st.
Berlin – Citizens' income will be introduced in Germany in the coming year.
After the Bundestag, the Bundesrat also approved the social reform on Friday.
It is intended to replace the previous Hartz IV system.
