For the Poles, this case will have been a headache anyway.
The missile (in the singular or in the plural) which hit their home, very close to the border with Ukraine, therefore did not come from a Russian shot – even though the Russians launch them every day into Ukrainian territory.
The first to have affirmed this was Joe Biden, the President of the United States who, on this point, for once agrees with Moscow.
Westerners, circumspect, rallied to this analysis - it is true that the Americans have the means to see everything in this theater of operations.
The “framework country”
As for Volodymyr Zelensky, he cannot help but contradict himself.
If he had not been the author of the shooting, the Poles would have had to accuse the Russians, which triggered a process of solidarity within NATO: we were entering the unknown.
If, on the contrary, he was, that put him at odds with his Polish friends.
Ultimately, this shooting will remain an “accident” which will have caused two deaths.
