According to Donald Trump Jr., the West should refrain from criticizing gay repression in Qatar during the World Cup.
Washington, DC - Donald Trump Jr. is certainly not a football fan.
The son of former US President Donald Trump, his hobbies include fishing and big game hunting.
But now the World Cup is in Qatar and Trump Jr. has an opinion on that too.

Donald Trump Jr. was apparently inspired to do so by the criticism of the World Cup in Qatar.
The desert state has severely restricted reporting on the World Cup.
The criticism of the treatment of guest workers, women's rights and the rights of LGTBQ people could not prevent this.
Homosexuality is illegal in Qatar.
Sexual acts between people of the same sex are punishable by up to three years in prison.

Internationally, Qatar's anti-homosexual policies have met with a great deal of criticism.
But not with Donald Trump Jr. The son of a very wealthy father, who has only found work in his father's company so far, sided with the Sheikhs of Qatar on Twitter and defended their policies against criticism from the West.
Trump Jr. made an idiosyncratic connection between homosexuality and pedophilia and at the same time managed to accommodate criticism of the alleged compulsory vaccination in the West.
"After ignoring pedophilia and the sexualization of our children and having vaccines forced on people against their will with dire consequences, the West has lost all moral superiority," Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter.
The West must "stop bitching about Qatar's asserting its beliefs at the World Cup."

On the other hand, Qatar's handling of the Corona crisis is well documented.
During the peak period, the state, like many countries in the West, had imposed numerous restrictions on unvaccinated individuals.
According to the Qatari Foreign Ministry, tourists who had not received a corona vaccination were temporarily not allowed to enter the country.
According to an official government statement, all residents of Qatar have been “strongly recommended” to be vaccinated against Corona.

So that leaves the connection that Donald Trump Jr. seems to be making between homosexuality and pedophilia.
