A 36-year-old woman, a resident of Zemar, was found lifeless today (Friday) at a construction site in Tel Mond.
A suspect in his 40s, also a resident of Zemar, was arrested and imprisoned.
The woman, Fatma Salim Katawi, a mother of five, apparently worked at the construction site.
The suspected murder happened on the day of the fight against violence against women.
Tomorrow, the arrested suspect will be brought to a hearing at the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva with a request to extend his detention.

Last week, a 59-year-old woman was found dead in her home in Ein al-Assad in the Upper Galilee, with signs of violence on her body.
The MDA team had to determine her death on the spot. It is suspected that she was murdered by her son, a mentally disabled young man who lived with his parents.
The investigation of the incident reveals the suspicion that her 26-year-old son, who suffers from schizophrenia, murdered her and fled the scene in the family car. He was arrested after who was involved in a car accident in the area. The father of the family, a shuttle driver, was not at home at the time of the incident and found her body when he returned to the apartment.
