The European Union condemned the continuous demolitions committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing that they constitute a violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
The European Union stated in a statement, according to WAFA Agency, that the demolition of the “Isfi Elementary Mixed School” by the occupation forces in the town of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the West Bank, is a violation of children’s right to education, noting that it comes at a time when 1,200 Palestinians in the town are still at risk of forced displacement.
The statement pointed to the restrictions imposed by the occupation on the movement of students and teachers and obstructing their access to their schools, calling on the occupation to stop the demolitions and forced evictions that exacerbate the suffering of the Palestinians.
Last Wednesday, the occupation forces demolished the “Isfi Mixed Elementary School,” which serves dozens of students from the villages of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
