According to Agence France-Presse, this decision came based on the result of a referendum that Musk conducted on the platform and lasted 24 hours, and included a question: Is Twitter supposed to grant a general amnesty for frozen accounts, provided that they have not violated the law or sent explicit spam, as 72.4 percent of the tweeters responded. with “yes” compared to 27.6 percent with “no”.
Musk, the richest man in the world and the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, acquired the Blue Bird platform at the end of last October for $ 44 billion.
