On the battlefield, Putin cannot defeat Ukraine.

In the meantime, his war is finally directed against millions of civilians - including children.

A comment by Mike Schier.

On Wednesday, the EU Parliament made a clear statement: Russia is a state that uses "terrorist means" and commits "deliberate attacks and atrocities" against the civilian population.

Shortly thereafter, Russian hackers paralyzed the parliament's website.

But they should not expend energy on preventing the spread of the European assessment.

Moscow's actions are currently proving the terrorist nature of Vladimir Putin and his henchmen on a daily basis: his war is now finally directed against millions of civilians - including children.

Putin wants to break Ukraine's morale by attacking critical infrastructure

Because his army is struggling with the Ukrainian troops, Putin now wants to break the morale of the Ukrainians by attacking the critical infrastructure - he has Winter as an ally.

This inhuman approach refutes all those who still attest to legitimate motives of the Kremlin ruler and even want to do business with him.

The question now is which will last longer: the tolerance of the brave population or the supply of rockets and (Iranian) drones.

Just this much: Putin has repeatedly underestimated the tenacity of the Ukrainians.

With Moscow's new strategy, the West is also faced with new tasks.

Civilian and humanitarian aid are increasingly coming to the fore: power generators, warm clothing, humanitarian goods.

Is this enough to keep the suffering within bounds?

It is more likely that the number of refugees will increase again and that Germany will also face many problems in winter.
