Daraa-Sana
Under the title “Heritage and Creativity,” the Directorate of Culture in Daraa, in cooperation with a number of events, held a celebration of the Syrian Culture Days.
The celebration included a traditional singing performance by the choir of the Artists Syndicate in Daraa, led by artist Muhammad Abazid, with the participation of about 40 performers and musicians.
The poet Muhammad al-Hariri recited a Nabataean poem entitled (Horan al-Tayyib), and the Al-Mahra Folklore Ensemble presented a theatrical dance performance entitled (Syrian Culture Day, a Day of Joy and Hope), led by artist Maher Hamami.
The celebration also included the opening of exhibitions of books, plastic art and photographs.
The activities of the first day of the celebration concluded by honoring a number of personalities who have a long history in culture.
The ceremony was attended by a popular crowd and a number of official figures in the province.
