Since Monday, the 30 candidates for the
Miss France 2023
election have been in Guadeloupe for their preparation trip.
In the program ?
Photo shoots for magazines, interviews or good manners classes.
On their return to France next Tuesday, direction Châteauroux to ensure the first rehearsals of the bonus of the election which will take place at MACH 36, next December 17 in Déols.

Before leaving, two suitcases had to be packed: the first devoted to the stay in Guadeloupe, the second for the following three weeks in Châteauroux.
"A summer suitcase, and another winter"

, one of the two chaperones of the candidates who, a few days before departure, sends the entire promotion the schedule for the coming month which is accompanied by a
“keychain”
, in other words the list of things to take.
“We advise them to travel light because, during most of the activities, the stylist on site offers them looks

Their suitcase contains a few personal effects but above all a lot of gifts from partner brands”

, former Miss Brittany who is now responsible for coordinating candidates.
“You have to leave room to bring some back as well
,” she adds.
“They rarely have time to read or watch a series”

During group activities and outings, the girls are indeed dressed the same, for the sake of fairness.
When this is the case, the clothes are most of the time offered.
Example, the day of departure to Guadeloupe.
The marinières embroidered with the image of the competition and worn at Orly airport are a gift from Armor Lux, a partner of the show for several years.
On the cosmetic side, the regional misses are offered a make-up kit by the Sothys brand, hair products by Saint-Algue, and sunscreen by Corinne de Farme.

What about personal matters?
“We ask them to bring evening wear because, in the evening, they are free.
They dress, do their hair and do their make-up on their own”
, Estelle Sabathier tells us, while specifying that the candidates generally have partnerships with designers in their region.
“It allows you to see those who are doing well for independent preparation,”
emphasizes the one who finished in the top 12 of the Miss France 2013 competition won by Marine Lorphelin.

“We are not stopping them from doing anything.
