102-year-old is an enthusiastic newspaper reader - many well-wishers

On her 102nd birthday, Sophie Lampl received congratulations from nine thirty in the morning to nine thirty in the evening, also from Mayor Stefan Joachimsthaler, and celebrated with her family.

Sophie Lampl from Biburg celebrates her special birthday with her family: she turned 102 years old.
Biburg – At an age that others don't even reach, Sophie Lampl still reads the newspaper every day.
For two hours and without glasses, as she emphasizes.
Now the woman from Biburg has become a proud 102 years old.
She is still the oldest citizen of the municipality of Alling.
Fully fit mentally
Sophie Lampl still lives in the property on Dorfstrasse where she was born.
According to Hans Lampl, one of her three sons, she has an apartment on the first floor.
A grandson and his girlfriend also live in the house and help the 102-year-old.
"Mentally, she's still fully there," says Hans Lampl.
You can still talk to her and she is still interested in everything that is happening in Biburg and the world.
"Even in big politics."

Thanks to a stair lift, Sophie Lampl can master the stairs down and out.
Sometimes she also goes on excursions – accompanied, of course.
"They were recently at the AEZ in Buchenau," says her son.
And on Sundays she goes to church.
farmer and gardener
In Biburg she is known as "Keana-Sophie".
She lived with her husband on the farm on Dorfstraße, managed it and raised their three sons.
There were four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The woman from Biburg was always a passionate farmer and gardener.
For a long time she was involved in the flower and gardening association - she has been an honorary member there for years.
The 102-year-old celebrated her birthday with her family.
In the morning the mayor was there and congratulated.
There was a white sausage breakfast, then coffee and cake in the afternoon.
"Games were then also made," says Hans Lampl.
His mother also participated.
“She was there from nine-thirty to nine-thirty that day,” says the son.
That's why she was quite tired for the next few days - but that's no wonder at the proud age of 102 years.
