The Directorate of Culture in Al-Hasakah concluded the activities it organized within the celebration of the Syrian Culture Days (Heritage and Creativity), by holding a musical concert in which the two heritage bands (Nabada and Ornasha) participated.
And the Director of Culture, Abd al-Rahman al-Sayyed, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the Directorate concluded its activity with artistic performances from the Al-Jazrawi heritage, which forms a beautiful mosaic that reflects the beauty, richness and nobility of heritage and art in Syria, indicating that the Directorate, over the course of the days of the event, was keen to diversify what was presented to the public in terms of art exhibitions. Fine arts, various theatrical, artistic and lyrical performances, and honoring cultural partners who have contributed with the Directorate in developing cultural work in the province.
The official of the Committee for the Revival of the Syriac Heritage, Silva Al-Asia, explained that the committee participated in the last day of the celebration by presenting an artistic performance in which the Ornasha Band presented songs from the Syriac heritage, and the Nabada Band presented a group of folklore dances in an effort to convey a message represented by the importance of this heritage, and the need to preserve it and deliver it to the people. The next generations.
The choir trainer of the Committee for the Revival of the Syriac Heritage, Maya Elia, stated that Ornasha Band presented several singing segments from the Syriac and Merdali heritage, and the Nabada Band performed segments from the traditional Dabkeh, with the aim of emphasizing the aesthetics of the Syrian heritage, and the importance of preserving its diversity.
In the city of Qamishli, a musical concert was held on the stage of the Cultural Center, performed by the artist Jamal Fouad, during which he presented a group of songs from the heritage of Al-Hasakah Governorate that included various popular songs, which indicated that participation in such cultural activities comes within the framework of supporting art and communicating the Al-Jazrawi heritage to the younger generation, to introduce them to their richness. The ancient cultural civilization.
It is noteworthy that the Directorate of Culture has today re-presented the two theatrical performances (Diaries of the Arrogant Rooster) and (Countdown) on the stages of the Al-Hasakah and Al-Qamishli cultural theaters.
