The investigations into the case of the murdered Hanna from Aschau are continuing at full speed, numerous witnesses are being questioned.

An adolescent from the village has been in custody on suspicion of murder since last Friday.

The 18 to 21-year-old is the jogger who was seen on the night of the crime.

He was originally wanted as a witness and finally turned himself in. The police emphasized at the time that the young man was not suspected.

The Holzkern watch, which was initially traded as a hot lead and which was discovered in the Bärbach near a ring belonging to the victim, is another piece of the puzzle for the 50-strong “Club” special commission.

Investigators have made progress in their investigation.

Soko now knows that the watch was sold over 1,500 times on the internet alone.

"If possible, we want to know every single buyer who has purchased such a watch," says Stefan Sonntag, spokesman for the police headquarters in Oberbayern Süd in Rosenheim.

"It's unbelievably complex." Whether the find with the model name "Charlie" is actually related to the crime, the detective wants to understand in detail.

"No effort is too great for the special commission," emphasizes Sunday.

New details about the alleged perpetrator of the killed Hanna from Aschau come to light.

As reported by chiemgau24.de, the man is a 20-year-old who is currently in custody.

It is also said that he is said to have killed the 23-year-old through "external violence".

He had reported to the police as a witness because he was jogging near the scene of the crime between two and three o'clock on the night of the crime.

The suspicion that this is Hanna's murderer has now arisen from further witness information, it is said.

As the Passauer Neue Presse reported, the 20-year-old is said to have lived just a kilometer away from Hanna.

The police are currently assuming a single perpetrator.

Aschau – One might think that in Aschau im Chiemgau there is a sigh of relief after the alleged murderer of the student Hanna (23) has been found.

But the suspect is said to be a young man from the community.

The Passauer Neue Presse reports that the suspect, whom the police arrested on Friday, comes from the Aschau municipality – like the murdered woman.

Stefan L. (name changed) and the victim are said to have known each other from childhood, but attended the same school at most until elementary school, because Hanna went to high school and he didn't.

Hanna was rescued dead from the Prien river on October 3 after the 23-year-old student had celebrated in the "Eiskeller" club in Aschau.

After the autopsy, the police assumed it was a homicide, and there must have been signs of a fight or an act of violence.

According to the defendant's attorney, Harald Baumgärtl, Stefan L. has not yet commented on the allegation: "He has not given any information about the person or the crime to the magistrate," Baumgärtl told our newspaper.

A juvenile psychiatrist should examine Stefan L. and clarify whether he is being prosecuted under juvenile or adult criminal law.

In principle, he is considered to be an adolescent, i.e. people between 18 and 21 years of age.

The psychiatrist will also clarify to what extent the suspect is guilty.

The fact that the investigation is headed towards murder means that the police assume intent.

There was no information about the motive so far.

The investigations will probably drag on for a long time.

"It will certainly take months," said a spokesman for the Rosenheim public prosecutor's office.

Among other things, data carriers and other material that the investigators secured during a house search at Stefan L. are currently being evaluated.
