A meeting between Donald Trump and Kanye West in Florida causes a stir.

Both participants report on different events.

Mar-a-Lago — Donald Trump wants to know it again.

The enfant terrible of US politics has experienced a kind of second spring in recent weeks.

After the expected successes of the Republicans failed to materialize in the midterms, the former US President - as expected by many observers - announced his renewed candidacy as US presidential candidate for the Republicans.

A short time later, Trump was also allowed to celebrate his comeback on the short message service Twitter.

Elon Musk had users vote on whether Trump's account should be unblocked.

Trump himself did not want to return to the platform.

Former US President Trump is said to have yelled at Kanye West for his upcoming candidacy

With the spotlight returning to the former president, Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence hosted an illustrious dinner.

The dinner was set up for a meeting between Trump and American rapper Kanye West (aka "Ye").

According to West, there was a tangible argument between the two during the evening, after which Trump yelled at his guest.

West had repeatedly posted the string "YE24" on his Twitter account in the past few days, indicating a renewed presidential candidacy.

At the dinner he is said to have turned to Trump with a curious request.

"I think what upset Trump the most was when I asked him to be my vice president," Trump said in a video posted to Twitter of the meeting.

Trump yelled at him and predicted defeat.

"I said wait a minute Trump, you're talking to Ye," West continues.

The musician had already competed in the presidential election in 2020, but had received fewer than 70,000 votes — election winner Joe Biden had received more than 81 million votes.

Eddy around Nick Fuentes – Trump is silent on the presence of far-right dinner guests

Another participant at the dinner also caused a stir.

As West explained, Nick Fuentes was also at the meeting.

The 24-year-old is considered a poster boy of the new right in the United States and has repeatedly spread anti-Semitic conspiracy stories and made racist statements in the past.

He is classified as a "white supremacist" - someone who believes in the natural superiority of "whites" over other people.

Trump did not deny Fuentes' participation, but did not explicitly confirm it either.

West called him about dinner, he wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.

"Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends that I knew nothing about." Trump wrote that other people were also there at the meal.

Trump denies dispute with Kanye West: "got along well"

Referring to West, Trump wrote: "Anyway, we got along well, he expressed no anti-Semitism." The rapper had repeatedly expressed anti-Semitism in the past few weeks.

The former US President also confirmed that he had spoken to West about his possible candidacy.

He advised him not to run for president under any circumstances, Trump continued.

However, the 76-year-old denied that there was a dispute and described the meal as "uneventful".
