323 injured people reached university education during the year 2022 from various segments of total, subtotal, and partial disability.
The Jarih al-Watan project stated in a post on its Facebook page that the wounded applied during the current year for 75 seats in general university education, 149 seats in open education, 3 in special education, and 85 in virtual education, while 11 wounded people reached postgraduate studies, distributed between 9 master’s degrees. , and 2 PhDs in various scientific and practical specializations.
The project indicated that education constitutes the compass that directs the wounded towards their distant goals, and the Jarih al-Watan project accompanies them in that by expanding university educational support to include the partially disabled from 40 to 69 percent, and ensuring that they have access to the opportunities and facilities required for education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which contributes to support Their entry into the labor market and the enhancement of their financial independence.
The Jarih al-Watan project, which was launched by the Presidency of the Republic in 2014, aims to support the wounded, treat them, fulfill their rights, and rehabilitate them to enable them to return to society and integrate into it on their own.
