A fire broke out in a storage warehouse located in the industrial zone of the Docks de Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), on the night of Friday to Saturday.
It was a little after 1:30 a.m. when the firefighters were called to intervene as smoke billowed from this area, at 50 rue Ardouin, where around fifty various businesses are located.
124 firefighters mobilized during the intervention
The flames, which affected a cell of 500 m2 (on a warehouse with a surface area of 2,200 m2 in total), caused no casualties.
But they mainly affected electrically assisted bicycles and therefore required the employment of 124 firefighters at the heart of the intervention, anxious "to prevent the batteries from catching fire", we said this Saturday morning at the BSPP. (Paris fire brigade).
