Within the activities of the Syrian Culture Days, the closing ceremony of the Musical Incubator project was held this evening at the Drama Theater in Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
Today's evening was devoted to the incubator project, which is supervised by musician Al-Muthanna Al-Ali, in which he presented five groups, namely (a viola quartet - a piano quintet - classical singing - two groups of stringed and wind instruments).
The concert began with a quartet of Bach's viola and the first movement of Mozart's Symphony 40, then the piano quintet's melodies were scattered for a famous musical work of the romantic style by Edward Agric, in addition to a lyrical work with singer Rasha Abu Shukr, and musical works of the peoples of the world on wind instruments. .
Musician Mahdi Al-Mahdi explained in a statement to SANA that the goal of the incubator project is to attract and adopt new musical bands from the students of the Higher Institute of Music and old graduates as a participatory case between the old musicians and the new students to gain experience and exchange knowledge between the two generations.
And he indicated that every concert during the project, from its inception until now, took three months of continuous musical training, because the type of these works that fall under the heading of chamber music need serious and continuous training, especially the instrumental works in which the greatest effort falls on the player.
In turn, Yasmin Muhammad, a pianist, said that the musical incubator project gave her an opportunity to fulfill her passion for appearing on the stage and interacting with the audience, indicating that today's ceremony is the result of the project that was worked on within the musical incubator and brought together young graduates of the Higher Institute of Music and seasoned professors.
The Music Incubator project is a strategic project directed at musicians of all kinds to form musical groups with the aim of encouraging the arts, revitalizing them, discovering talents, providing ways for the advancement of their professionals, and transforming them into permanent bands that support the Syrian artistic movement.
