The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of 9 Russian soldiers from captivity in Ukraine.
The ministry said in a statement today: “As a result of the negotiation process, 9 Russian soldiers were returned today from the lands controlled by the Kyiv regime,” noting that they were at risk of dying in captivity.
The statement continued: The liberated soldiers will be transported to Moscow on a military transport plane, noting that the necessary medical and psychological assistance has been provided to them.
