He says:
“I was a bastard at that time because I no longer thought of my kids but I was actually drowned.
I didn't go home anymore, I didn't see my wife or my kids.
I was losing my mind”
.
Today, the singer has found a balance, still supported by his wife whom he met when he was 18 years old.
Family is essential to him and that is why he lives only a few minutes from his parents' home in Alsace:
"my children can see where I grew up"
