This evening, the Bashan Theater Group presented the purposeful theatrical work “The Devil’s House”, written by Mr. Muhammad Ali Al-Khatib and directed by the artist Mahmoud Awad.

The events of the play, in which four actors participate, revolve around a will that the grandfather leaves for his grandchildren in a box that he put in the house of the devil. The two grandchildren decide to enter the house to get it, but the devil starts whispering to them until one ends up killing the other, and when the killer opens the box, he finds it empty, and he loses everything. .

The artist, Mahmoud Awad, the director of the work, said: It aims to educate people and not be led by greed, indicating that there is symbolism in the work, as there are no homes for demons, but rather they live inside a person, and when a person obeys destructive ideas, he reaches limits of mistakes that are difficult to undo.

Awad pointed out that the Syrian Culture Days are an appropriate opportunity to spread the theater culture and revive it in Daraa Governorate.
