The Russian military lacks resources in the Ukraine war.

A Russian foreign minister now concedes that there are too few doctors in particular.

St. Petersburg - The Russian military has already suffered many casualties in the war.

The army lacks soldiers, equipment and food.

But the lack of doctors is also a major problem in the Ukraine conflict – Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky admitted this surprisingly openly.

After meeting mothers of Russian soldiers in St. Petersburg on Saturday (November 16), he admitted that the Russian military did not have enough doctors to care for the soldiers.

“There are not enough doctors in the military units;

everyone says so. I can't say they don't exist at all.

But they are practically invisible there," Slutski said at a meeting of the foreign affairs committee.

Russia in the Ukraine war: In addition to a lack of doctors, there is also a lack of equipment

In the past, many soldiers have already criticized the lack of supplies and equipment.

Olga Sujetina, the foster mother of a soldier who was drafted into combat operations in Ukraine as a result of the partial mobilization, reported that her son had said that there was a massive lack of equipment.

"There is nothing;

they left Kharkiv, there was zero, there wasn't even plastic to cover the trenches," the mother said.

Slutsky stressed that he would discuss the problems of the lack of equipment with the Ministry of Defense in a timely manner.

However, one must "be aware that the whole world is watching us." If things like socks or doctors are missing, that would raise questions that are difficult to answer, according to the head of the right-wing extremist party LDPR.

President Vladimir Putin also met with the mothers of killed and currently fighting soldiers.

The reason for this was that on Sunday (November 27) Mother's Day will be celebrated in Russia.

The men died a hero's death, he said, according to consistent media reports.

He also stressed that the media often presents a distorted picture of Russia's military operations.

Many false reports and lies can be heard on television and the Internet.

Putin did not provide any evidence for this.
