4 people died and 25 others were injured, one of them seriously, when a passenger bus collapsed on the Hama-Aleppo highway near the Peasants Union gas station.
The head of the Traffic Branch in Hama, Col. Walid al-Ajili, told SANA reporter that a passenger bus heading to Aleppo governorate deviated from its track and collapsed next to the Hama-Aleppo highway, near the site of the Peasants Union gas station, indicating that the deterioration and overturning of the bus resulted in the death of 4. People were injured, and 25 others were injured, including one seriously, and the rest, whose injuries varied between light and medium. All of them were on the bus, and they were immediately taken to Hama National Hospital for treatment.
For his part, the Director of the General Authority of Hama National Hospital, Dr. Salim Khallouf, stated in a similar statement that dozens of people were taken to the hospital, including a critical condition, and the rest suffered wounds, fractures, and bruises. All first aid, treatment procedures, and surgical interventions were provided to them, and their health condition is currently stable.
