The activities of the cultural and artistic festival launched by the Bayader Forum and the Roses Forum for Culture and Arts in cooperation with the branch of the Arab Writers Union in Tartous, on the occasion of the anniversary of the glorious Corrective Movement, include a group of literary and artistic cultural events, with the participation of a group of writers and artists from the governorate.
The activities that are held in the exhibition hall in the ancient city of Tartous in conjunction with the days of Syrian culture witnessed today, in addition to the book fair, a festival of plastic art and poetry and a pavilion for handicrafts, according to Hassan Bazaqi, Secretary of the Bayader Cultural Forum, indicating that the festival is an opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas and learn about the different experiences of each art.
A member of the Writers' Union in Tartous, Hassan Al-Nasser, stated that the book fair includes books, novels, collections of short stories, and collections of collections at attractive prices, with a special discount for schools.
The Secretary of the Fine Arts Office of the Bayader Cultural Forum, Mahmoud Helhel, explained that the exhibition included a large group of prominent artists who used all styles of painting and belong to several art schools, in addition to the opening of a wing for children's drawings that a number of the Forum's artists are training.
Artist Mohamed Hammoud participated in paintings about Syria, the mother of martyrs and steadfastness, and a painting about the unique female with all the attributes of beauty, and about the beautiful rural nature using acrylic and oil colors.
The craftsmanship is simple, Diop, who participated in a number of wool and silk works in Al-Sinara, confirmed that the festival is an opportunity to display her products and learn about the works of others, while the artist Roy Salmon worked with children to discover their talents and unleash their imagination.
The artist, Qamar Moneim, participated in three paintings with a number of the children of her studio, carrying human and sentimental feelings. Likewise, the artist, Julia Saad, who participated in a painting that she formed from the soil of Syria in all its regions.
The children participating in the exhibition, including Wadad and Hala Sheikh Hassan and Yana Mahmoud Ghanem, were inspired by their drawings from the environment in which they live, while the mother of the two participating girls, Layan and Lara Ghiath Ghanem, considered that the exhibition is a valuable opportunity to introduce children's talents in various fields.
The end of the festival today was the recitation of a group of poems of spinning and zajal presented by the poets Shams El-Din Saeed, Lamis Saleh and Suleiman Helou, and the young Hossam Khallouf also participated in lyrical excerpts from the traditional admonition.
