Yuro Volkov's daughter said in a conversation with Walla that the family at first did not understand at all that the father had been stabbed. "We thought he had a stroke due to stress," she explained. In the meantime, the police have not located the murder weapon, but according to estimates, it is a spike that can be bought in craft stores for tens of individual shekels

Daria, the daughter of Yuri Volkov, who was stabbed to death in Holon, told Walla today (Sunday) that the weapon the suspect used was not an ordinary knife.

"At first we didn't understand that he had been stabbed, we thought he had a stroke due to stress. When mom shouted that he had been hit, the doctors started checking and saw that he had been stabbed and that his heart was crushed from the inside," she said.

"We thought it was a retractable knife, but then we realized that this weapon is different and terribly dangerous."

So far, the police have not located the murder weapon, but according to estimates, it is a spike that can be obtained at craft stores for tens of shekels.

According to Daria, the weapon is inserted into the body, and it damages the internal organs, but leaves a small entry wound, so the damage is not seen.

"You insert it into the body, it crushes the heart from the inside and makes a mess there until you take it out. You don't see the wound from the outside because it's very small and starts bleeding internally," explained Daria.

"This is what they understood from the autopsy."

"We realized that this weapon is different and terribly dangerous."

Daria also said: "We are going through difficult days, the family is broken but we are still trying to stand up and help my mother so that she can be strong. She can barely stand on her feet. She is all in tears and she only talks about the incident. We are all crying non-stop. No one can believe this What happened, that such a good person was taken from us."

At the end of the week it was allowed to be published that the motorcycle rider Adi Mizrahi, 22 years old from Holon, is the suspect in the murder.

At the hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, he was initially charged with reckless homicide - despite the documentation clearly showing the stabbing that caused Volkov's death.

After the storm and public criticism, the police updated the suspicion of murder.

Mizrahi's detention was extended by six days.

The murder weapon has not yet been found.

According to the reports, the officers who arrived at the suspect's apartment found him with his dog.

The dog attacked two police officers who were injured by its bites.

To neutralize the dog, the force shot him and he was injured.

Among other things, it was suspected that Mizrahi was waiting for his friends to help disrupt the investigation, and that he was planning to flee the country.

Yuri's daughter said in response to the suspicions against Mizrahi that there was no frivolity here.

"This man is a murderer and killed an entire family with the murder of my father," she said.

"No matter what, I will not leave this issue - and it will not pass in silence. Even if his lawyer is strong, I will do everything so that it reaches as many people as possible and as high as possible."
