The Likud and Noam parties sign this evening (Sunday) an agreement, according to which an authority for national-Jewish identity will be established in the Prime Minister's Office.
It will be headed by Deputy Minister MK Avi Maoz. In addition to that, he will also be responsible for the organization "Nativ" and other units.
Five days ago it was published in "Israel Hayom" that the security portfolio will remain in Likud, but there is a possibility of another minister in the Ministry of Defense for religious Zionism and that Maoz will receive the position.
This is the second agreement signed, while in the first agreement between Likud and Otzma Yehudit, Itamar Ben Gabir is expected to be appointed Minister of National Security.
