The national teams of Croatia and Canada took to the grass at the Khalifa Stadium this evening (Saturday) for a game with a huge impact on the identity of those advancing from sixth to the round of 16 of the World Cup.
The world runner-up came into the game with a point, Canada still doesn't have one and the tension is at its peak.
Canada coach John Hardman's belligerent quotes fired up the section and today's game is expected to be lively.
Canada impressed in the loss to Belgium and similar ability may produce a positive result against Croatia - and also a first ever goal in the World Cup.
This time Hardman put Kyle Larin in the lineup, with the aim of increasing the punch.
The Balkans will try to improve their performance after a weak 0:0 draw with Morocco and coach Zlatko Dalic once again put his trust in Andrej Kramaric in the side.
Croatia will not settle for less than three points.
