We no longer present Courchevel.
Station of all superlatives but also "world capital of skiing" attached to the 3 Valleys, the largest ski area on the planet.
As early as 2012, it distinguished itself from other resorts in the French Alps by being the first to mark out a ski touring route.
There are 5 today where you can learn in complete safety, before setting off to attack the surrounding mountains, with the assistance of a mountain guide.
Sometimes, it is not necessary to go far: here, a side step is enough to reach the valley of the Avals to embark on an adventure.
However, we took care to arrive a day in advance and opt for the chalet l'Etagne, the only guest house in Courchevel, located in the village of Le Praz.
