The police from Kochel am See reported an accident.

A VW driver no longer had a chance to soften up against a car that was coming towards him on the wrong lane.

Kochel am See – A traffic accident with high property damage occurred on Saturday around 3.40 p.m. in Kochel am See.

According to the police, a 36-year-old Kochler was driving his Ford on Bahnhofstrasse in the direction of the town when – probably due to carelessness – he turned left into the oncoming lane in a right-hand bend on a wet road.

There the VW of a 45-year-old Kochler came towards him.

Although the VW driver tried to swerve, he was no longer able to prevent a collision.

Both occupants were buckled and unharmed.

Property damage of around 5,000 euros was caused to the vehicles.
