The Hong Kong University Student Union "School" posted on social media today (27th) that a mainland student was holding a leaflet on University Street, and the school called the police.
The police officers arrived at the scene after receiving a report from the school, and left after recording the personal information of the students involved.
In response to inquiries, the police stated that they had received a report from a security guard of the University of Hong Kong that a man had posted a notice at the exit area of the University of Hong Kong Station.
