Thanksgiving took place last weekend in the US, and Madonna revealed on Instagram the reasons why she thanks God every day: her six children, of course.
In a rare series of photographs that the 64-year-old star uploaded to the network, she can be seen celebrating the holiday in the company of her six children: Lourdes ("Lola") Leon (29), Rocco Ritchie (22), David Banda (17), Marcy James (16) and the pair of twins Stella and Esther (10).

Let's do some sorting for those who are less knowledgeable about the long list of heirs of the pop queen: Lourdes, a model who is currently taking her first steps in the world of music, is the daughter of fitness trainer Carlos Leon - Madonna's partner in the mid-1990s;
Rocco, an artist who paints under the pen name Rhed, is the son of film director Guy Ritchie who was married to Madonna between 2000 and 2008;
while the other four are natives of the African country of Malawi, who were adopted by the singer at different times.
In addition to the group photo, Madonna uploaded additional photos of her and the children celebrating (Stella and Esther plotting DJ careers?), alongside glimpses of the lavish holiday table and the caption "The things I'm thankful for", accompanied by a yellow heart emoji .

The reactions to the post, in which Madonna presents her new and controversial look with the grill on her teeth and oxidized eyebrows, were mostly positive: the musician Diplo, for example, wrote "a beautiful family", while the American-Jewish actress Debi Mazar, Madonna's best friend, complimented with emojis of red hearts.
On the other hand, as always, there were people on the network who chose to be a little less flattering, and claimed that the group photo resembled a portrait of the Addams family.
