The Moosburgers started the pre-Christmas period in a spectacular way.

At the same time, they set a sign for peace.

Moosburg

– The Christkind came to Moosburg just in time for the first advent and was received with overwhelming enthusiasm.

Several hundred Moosburgers came to the town hall and at the same time provided a fantastic sign of peace during the parade of lights.

On the evening before the first Advent, Moosburg's Christkind appeared after the third and really loud call from the Moosburg children.

It wished people hope, confidence and love, before the Christ Child was there to touch.

With the angels, the heavenly guest walked over the red carpet through the children's trellis onto the stage at the city's largest Christmas tree next to the Marian column.

"I know your wishes," said the Christ Child before he and the angels lit the tree.

After the appearance of the Christ Child, the children were promised more guests of honor, and the city of Moosburg kept its word.

At the town hall window, the star man and his star woman reported to enchant the town hall.

After the duo, the moon, the stardust and the cloud were called onto the stage.

It was a fantastic spectacle, and the bright eyes of the children said clearly that the young visitors will not soon forget this start to the Advent season.

The start of Advent did not end with the Christmas crowd of celebrities on the stage.

Because of Moosburg's 1250th anniversary, a parade of lights was planned.

The day-care centers were specifically contacted for this purpose, saying that the lanterns should be removed after St. Martin's Day.

Almost every child had a light with them on the tour over the Weingraben and the district court garden back to the town hall.

The last guest of honor of a great day led the parade of lights: the night watchman.
