The Theater z'Wimpasing will move to the Inninger Bürgersaal in the future.

But first of all, the Inning theater club played again in the Gasthaus Winkler.

Mayor Mühlen slips into the role of the snappy neighbor.

Inning

- For the last time in 36 years, the Inning Theater Association is currently performing a play at the Gasthaus Winkler in Großwimpasing.

The comedy "Baby Available, Father Wanted" by Regina Harlander also delighted the audience last weekend with confused events and funny scenes.

Stefan Voglhuber is directing again.

"We're foolishly looking forward to one last Theater z'Wimpasing," Voglhuber opened the evening in the rustic, wood-panelled hall of the Winkler inn.

He has been acting himself for 20 years and has also been directing for around ten years.

"We started rehearsals six to seven weeks ago," the professional actor told our newspaper.

From then on we practiced two or three times a week.

"All the performances were completely sold out a week before the premiere," he said happily.

In recent years, the theater has always been well attended, "but that everything is already full before that, we've never had that before".

Almost 140 spectators fit in the hall, so more than 800 people attend the six performances.

"We've been with this inn since 1986," reported Voglhuber.

From next year the theater association will be performing in the newly opened community center in Inning.

"There's a beautiful new stage, which of course has to be used," and the innkeepers in Wimpasing would no longer run the theater.

The next annual theatre, which normally takes place at Easter, is already being planned.

“Corona has postponed this year.” Voglhuber is hoping for spring here.

In addition, the association has decided to hold the open-air theater on the Inninger Alm, most recently in July 2021, every three years in the future.

The current comedy in three acts is about Bertl (Sebastian Kräutler) and Conny (Martina Kräutler), who are already planning their wedding - not without difficulties, since Conny's strong-willed maid of honor Babsi (Teresa Sperling) plans the wedding down to the smallest detail.

Bertl's best man Thomas (Korbinian Naderer) is frustrated by his own marriage to his wife Jutta (Uschi Lynch) and is concerned by the supposed misfortune of his friend.

The chaos begins when the two find a baby in front of the apartment door - together with a letter from Janette (Anna Holbl), the unknown mother of the child.

But not only the baby causes drama, but also Bertl's divorced parents Herbert (Kurt Unterreitmeier) and Anneliese (Claudia Knipf) with partner Klaus-Detlef (Robert Blattenberger) and the future mother-in-law Marianne (Bianca Höller).

The fidgety and nervous nature of Thomas, the awkwardness of Bertl and the roughness of his father Herbert as well as the tricky situation of the three men made for many laughs.

The audience was particularly enthusiastic about the two curious sisters from the apartment on the floor above: Frederike and Fridoline Müller, played by Mayor Michaela Mühlen and Christina Zehetner.

The traditional “sausage break” took place during the first break.

The evening was also accompanied by music.

Alternately, the Inninger played ziachmusi or the Inninger clarinet music during the breaks.

New on the stage this year are Anna Holbl and the former prompter Martina Kräutler.

Robert Blattenberger dropped out due to illness on the first weekend, Voglhuber stepped in.

Further performances are on Saturday, November 26 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 27 at 5 p.m.

"It's worth coming by, because there are often spontaneous places that become free," announced Voglhuber.
