Two photos that say a lot about the consequences of the war in Ukraine on the various republics of the Russian Federation.
The first dates from July 28 and shows 105 young men from Yakutia, in eastern Siberia.
That day, the head of the region, Aisen Nikolayev, had come to greet them at Yakutsk airport, before their departure for the front.
On the second shot, taken three months later in the same place on their return, they are only thirteen, survivors of the battles against the forces of kyiv.
Officially, only eight deaths have been recorded among this Yakut contingent.
But obviously the toll of the fighting has been much heavier.
