A 37-year-old man, the nephew of the criminal Michael Mor, was shot to death this evening (Sunday) on Etzel Street in Carmel Castle. The MDA team that was called to the scene gave him initial medical treatment.
He was taken to the Rambam Hospital in Haifa during CPR - but there he was later pronounced dead. The police were called to the scene and began searching. An investigation was opened.
Paramedic MDA Alexander Greenbaum who arrived at the scene said he saw the commotion.
"We saw in the courtyard of a building a 37-year-old man with penetrating injuries, lying unconscious," he said.
"People on the spot started performing CPR on him, he was not breathing and had no pulse. We gave him medical treatment and evacuated you while CPR was being performed. He is in a critical condition."

At the same time, an 85-year-old woman was moderately injured by a gunshot on Baruch Cohen Street in Haifa.
MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene gave her medical treatment and evacuated her to Rambam Hospital while she is fully conscious and suffering from penetrating injuries.
The police were also called to the scene and an investigation was opened.
Senior medics at the MDA Hai Takatash Vishi Levy, who arrived at the scene, said that they found the woman while she was conscious and frightened. "She was in pain and suffered from penetrating injuries," they said. and stable".
In Petah Tikva, an 18-year-old young man was moderately wounded, on the Zebulon Hamer road near the Eafron junction.
The MDA team brought him to the hospital in Linson suffering from penetrating injuries and conscious. MDA paramedic Zvi Tiber said that he saw the injured man lying on the road, next to the motorcycle.
"He was fully conscious and suffered penetrating injuries to his body," he said.
"We gave him life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital when he is in moderate and stable condition."
