The Nature and Parks Authority emphasized that on Mondays and Tuesdays, it is forbidden to enter on foot or by vehicle into flowing streams in the Judean Desert and in the south of the country until the water level drops completely, due to fear of floods.

How much rain fell in your area?
From Wednesday to Saturday, the 23rd to the 26th of October, our area was hit by an episode of rain, when more than 50 mm fell in some areas of the country. Significantly different amounts of rain were recorded between different areas of the country
In the Upper Galilee, in the Finger of the Galilee, in the north of the Golan and in the Hula Valley, 30 to 60 mm fell, and in some places even more than that. Among other things, in Neve Ativ it fell 90 mm and in Metula 71 mm.
Similar amounts also fell in the central mountains, mainly in the Benjamin and Yehuda mountains.
On the other hand, in the lower Galilee, in the Jezreel Valley and in the Sea of Galilee, 15 to 30 mm fell.

Differences were also noted in the coastal plain.
In the central and southern coastal plain (from the south of Gush Dan to the Ashkelon - Kiryat Gat area) 30 to 50 mm fell and in the Rishon Lezion area even amounts of 50 to 70 mm.
Among other things, 74 mm fell in Nir Zvi and 63 mm in Nachalat Yehuda.
In this area there were high intensities of rain with several tens of mm in less than an hour on the 25th of the month before noon, which caused flooding of houses and roads.
On the other hand, there were areas with much smaller amounts, the most prominent of which was the Tel Aviv area and parts of the Sharon with about 10 to 20 mm. The rains also decreased to the south - in the area surrounding Gaza, 20 to 30 mm fell, while in the north of the Negev only a few mm fell.
