Singer and cantor Avrami Roth launches a new single in honor of Shabbat: "Zahar HaShabbat", a song inspired by Roth's sister-in-law who passed away from Corona, composed by Yossi Green and arranged by David Toib.
The collaboration between Roth and Green is one of the most prominent in Hasidic music, the two managed to create two well-invested albums (Amat and Tziv, Green's version) and in the last two years also several successful singles (and we will be rewarded, Hesed Shab Hesed, find joy in their playing).
Abrimi Roth writes: "This is a special song for me, written under the inspiration of my sister-in-law Leah Kirschboim, in whose house they felt the "Zhar Hashabat" from Thursday already - with a Shulchan Aruch and ready for Shabbat.
Following her tragic death from Corona, many have taken it upon themselves to continue in her footsteps and bring the atmosphere of Shabbat into the house as early as Thursday.
T.N.T.B.H."
Lyrics: Miri Donat, Zimirot Shabbat | Music: Yossi Green | Musical arrangement and production: David Toiv | Mix: Haim Mozes.
