The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the dangers surrounding the Palestinian sanctities as a result of the daily violations and attacks of the Israeli occupation.

The Ministry affirmed in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the continuous incursions and violations by the occupation forces and its settlers against Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem, foremost of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, are invalid and illegal, and fall within the framework of the occupation’s attempts to change the historical, legal and demographic situation in the mosque, which threatens blowing up the situation in the entire region.

The Ministry called on the international community and its specialized organizations, foremost among them (UNESCO), to pay attention, vigilance, and beware of the dangers posed by these incursions, and the accompanying performance of provocative tours in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, calling for the provision of the necessary international protection for Jerusalem and its sanctities in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions.
