The worst rest area in Germany is in Franconia - it fails in every respect

No toilet, hardly any security, no accessibility and no cleanliness: Numerous rest areas fail in all categories.
An overview of the worst and most beautiful Bavaria.
Nuremberg – Checking out 684 rest areas: Over the past six months, the ACE (Auto Club Europa) has scrutinized numerous rest areas under the motto “Germany, your rest areas”.
Bayern is in the middle of the field when it comes to results.
The reason why the Free State does not perform better is probably due to the numerous rest areas without toilets, as well as some "bad" places that rattle through all categories.
And thus in Germany are in the first places of the worst rest areas.

The worst rated rest area in Germany is actually in Bavaria - in Upper Franconia.
The car park near Zapfendorf in the direction of Suhl on the A73 fails in every respect.
The course, which is part of the Nuremberg metropolitan region, performed so poorly in the ACE check that it received zero percent in two categories.
The place therefore does not know barrier-free and family-friendliness.
After all, he achieved 22 percent for safety and 20 percent for cleanliness. The car park received 3.8 out of five stars in the reviews on Google.

Immediately after the break area, the second worst place is the rest area directly opposite in the direction of Nuremberg.
It also received a "fail", but it still has a cleanliness rating of 40 percent.
Twelve other rest areas in Bavaria also failed in the evaluation, the reasons for this being poor hygiene, no accessibility, not family-friendly and too unsafe.

In addition to the worst rest areas in Germany, Franconia also has the most beautiful one in Bavaria.
Namely the “Göggelsbuch” recreation area on the A9 in the district of Nuremberg.
It received full marks in the safety and accessibility categories.
At least 89 percent for cleanliness and 75 percent for family friendliness.
Immediately afterwards is the "Schloßberg" rest area on the A93 in the direction of Regensburg.
These two places were the only ones from Bavaria to receive the “Excellent” rating in the evaluation.
And which place won in Germany?
"The 'Ostseeblick' facility on the A1 was the only facility in Germany to receive full points," says the ACE statement.
The rest area in Schleswig-Holstein was particularly impressive beyond all federal states.
The reason: barrier-free parking spaces and toilets, green areas, prospects and a playground.
The rest area also achieved full marks in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.
