Fourteen people have been killed in a landslide caused by heavy rains in the Cameroonian capital, Yaounde.

"A landslide in the capital, Yaounde, killed at least 14 people who were attending a funeral," the Reuters news agency quoted the provincial governor, Nasiri Paul Biya, as saying, noting that the search is still underway for other victims or bodies.

Heavy rains caused several devastating floods across the country, weakening infrastructure and displacing thousands.
