A day after the video documenting the violent incident was circulated on the networks, the police prosecution accuses the suspect of threatening crimes, willful damage to a vehicle and illegal possession of a knife


The police prosecution filed an indictment today (Monday) against a resident of Bat Yam, on suspicion of threatening crimes, willful damage to a vehicle and unlawful possession of a knife, during a violent incident about two weeks ago on Route 431, the documentation of which was distributed yesterday on the networks and quickly became viral.

Following yesterday's publications in the various media, regarding the video in which the suspect allegedly destroys two car wheels with a knife during an argument with another driver on Route 431, the police confirmed that a complaint was received near the time of the incident at the Rehovot station.

Following the complaint, the suspect, a resident of Bat Yam in his 20s, was interrogated.

At the end of the investigation, all of its findings were submitted for review and decision by the prosecution unit of the Israel Police in the Central District, which drew up an indictment for the offenses attributed to him.

Today the indictment was filed against the suspect at the Peace Court in Rehovot.
