The Syrian Investment Authority granted an investment license for a new project in the food industry sector in Rif Dimashq Governorate.
The director of the Syrian Investment Authority, Madian Diab, said in a statement to SANA reporter: The project aims to produce a group of plain, coated, stuffed, chocolate and cream biscuits with international standards, and by relying on the latest Italian equipment and production lines pioneering in this field.
Diab indicated that the estimated cost of the project is 6.6 billion pounds, and it is expected to secure 77 new job opportunities.
It is noteworthy that 47 investment licenses were granted in accordance with Law 18 of 2021, with a value of 522 billion Syrian pounds, and 4062 job opportunities are provided.
