Although Balenciaga did not refer to this text specifically in its statement, the brand apologized for "displaying disturbing documents" in the recent campaign.

“We take this matter very seriously and

are taking legal action against the parties responsible

"We strongly condemn the abuse of children in any of its forms and stand up for their safety and well-being," he added.
