From December 11, the S7 will run from Wolfratshausen via Munich to Aying every 20 minutes between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. - and more reliably.
Wolfratshausen – What has been a dream for many passengers of the S7 is to become reality from Sunday, December 11th.
As a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn reports, the S-Bahn line 7 is to run “for the first time in the history of the S-Bahn” between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. every 20 minutes from Wolfratshausen via Munich to Aying.
From there it goes every 20 or 40 minutes to the final station Kreuzstraße.

The new 20-minute cycle also applies to lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8. But according to the railways, not only the departures are getting denser.
At the same time, "reliability through adjustments to the timetable change" should be improved with longer stays at the terminal stations.
In the words of S-Bahn boss Heiko Büttner, the additional distance of 760,000 kilometers every year is "a clear sign of an efficient, robust and future-proof rail service".
