The Departmental Assembly of the Alpes-Maritimes, chaired by Charles-Ange Ginesy, met on Friday 25 November at the hotel of the department to examine the budgetary orientations for the coming year.

During this political time, which was joined in particular by the deputy (LR) of the Alpes-Maritimes, Éric Ciotti, five main axes of the budget emerged, most of them oriented towards the ecological and digital transition (Green Deal and Smart Deal).

Like the departmental water management plan, with a budget of 25 million euros to

“respond to water-related issues, reduce pipe leaks and bring out innovative saving solutions

“, or even the strengthening of aid for the energy renovation of housing with support from the department of up to 30,400 euros per household and up to 5,000 euros for the acquisition of electric vehicles.

"Eco-responsibility is no longer an option"

With a budget of 62 million euros, it will allow the creation of 84 km of additional cycle paths by 2028 in the department.

The deputy and candidate for the presidency of the Republicans, Éric Ciotti, for his part, took advantage of the departmental assembly to tackle his enemy brother, Christian Estrosi, on some burning subjects of the town hall of Nice.

The deconstruction of the National Theater of Nice in particular.

“I repeat, how can we consider razing the Théâtre de Nice without having reliable alternative solutions?

Remember that the town hall has just given up the

Grotesque …”
