Drunk Audi driver causes 20,000 euros in damage in Grünwald

With 1.8 per thousand alcohol in the blood, an Audi driver in Grünwald caused 20,000 euros in damage - and wanted to flee.
Grünwald
– On Friday around 8.30 p.m., a 53-year-old from the southern district of Munich drove his Audi A6 through Gabriel-von-Seidl-Strasse in Grünwald.
In a right-hand bend, he got into the oncoming lane and rammed a parked 3-series BMW, the police report.
The man got out briefly - and then just drove on.
Witness follows the fleeing Audi driver
The police know this so well because another man was driving behind the Audi and observed the mess.
He hung behind the Audi and alerted the police.
A patrol stopped the Audi driver. The alcohol test showed a blood alcohol level of 1.8.
The man now has various ads on his neck.
20,000 euros damage
The police estimate the damage to the Audi at 10,000 euros.
And the parked BMW, which belongs to a 52-year-old from Munich, suffered 10,000 euros in damage.
