The "One Day Trainee" campaign was a success in Freising - and the district administrator visited the Gaissmaier company.
District
– On the Day of Prayer and Repentance there is no school, but not work – ideal for “One Day Trainee”.
The campaign is a joint project of the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria and the Wirtschaftsjunioren.
In cooperation with the office of the educational region and the department for economic and digital development at the Freising district office, the project day was vigorously promoted at schools and in companies in the district.
With great success: A total of 45 students who wanted to experience a company up close and exchange ideas with trainees on site reported, as Susanne Zottmann, the district administrator's personal advisor, reports.
He was patron, convinced himself of the success of the project day and visited a student from the Karl-Meichelbeck-Realschule on a Gaissmaier construction site.
The gardening and landscaping company is currently expanding the outdoor facilities of the St. Lantbert primary school on behalf of the city.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
District Administrator: Exchange at eye level is important
"District administrator Petz learned a lot about the professional field of a landscape gardener and realized that the exchange at eye level is extremely important in order to get a realistic insight into everyday work," reports Zottmann.
All companies that actively provide training or are authorized to provide training were able to take part in the project day.
The project day will be offered again next year.
