A young man threatened a female driver with a knife today (Monday) during an argument on the road.
The driver, a 50-year-old resident of Rishon Lezion, complained to the police - who, after searches, arrested the suspect, a resident of Rishon Lezion in his 20s.
He was detained for questioning at the station, and tomorrow he will be brought to court with a request to extend his detention.
According to the suspicion and the documentation that was distributed, the young man was driving the car in front of the woman, suddenly braked, got out of his car and approached the window of her car with a knife in his hand, while he was arguing with her about the use of the road.

Earlier today, a resident of Bat Yam, in his 20s, was charged with threats, willful injury and illegal possession of a knife.
This, after a recording of him from two weeks ago on Route 431 was circulated, during which he punctures the tires of another vehicle following an argument on the road.
Yesterday, the documentation was released in which the driver was seen telling the man who confronted him "Move away, you're cutting me. Go to the car."
In response, the man pulls out a knife and punctures his tires.
Afterwards, the man was seen brandishing a knife and threatening the driver, a resident of Rishon LeZion.
Last night, Adi Mizrahi, the suspect in the murder of Yuri Volkov at the crossing in Holon, confessed to the act and expressed regret for his actions.
"I realized that I only killed him through the media," he said.
"I saw the woman taking pictures and I got stressed."
The police have not yet been able to locate the tool with which Mizrahi stabbed Volkov to death.
