When a female nurse at the clinic went to collect items from her ex-boyfriend's house, she invited her ex-boyfriend to drink her own "additional" lemon tea, and then stabbed him with a knife on his neck when he was lying down to rest.

She pleaded guilty to intentional wounding in the District Court today (28th) and pleaded that she had severe depression and had been in love with her ex-love for 7 years. She had talked about marriage but finally broke up. She saw her old love with a new wallet that day. There is a photo of him with his female colleague, and he committed the crime on impulse, not premeditated.

The judge adjourned the case to December 9 for sentencing, pending the mental and psychological report of the defendant.

The victim felt dizzy after drinking lemon tea

The facts of the case are that the defendant and the victim were originally a couple. They got married in February last year. On the day of the incident, the defendant contacted the victim and said that he wanted to go to his residence to retrieve the items.

After the defendant arrived at the victim's house, he gave the victim a homemade lemon tea. After drinking, the victim felt dizzy and vomited, so he lay down on the computer chair to rest. During this period, he suddenly felt pain in the left neck and was bleeding. On his left, he pushed the defendant away and pressed the wound with his hand, and saw the defendant holding a fruit knife.

The defendant's abdomen was also bleeding with a knife beside him

In order to avoid being attacked again, the victim entangled with the defendant and snatched the knife from her hand. During the period, the knife fell and the defendant wanted to hit the computer desk but was stopped by the victim.

After the victim called the police, he saw the defendant lying on the ground with bleeding from his abdomen and a knife beside him.

The two were sent to the hospital together. The victim sustained lacerations on his neck and fingers. The defendant was arrested at the hospital.

The lemon tea that the victim had drank was tested and found to contain the hypnotic drug Zolpidem.

The two talked about getting married but eventually broke up

The defendant pleaded that she suffered from severe depression and had attempted suicide and was advised to continue treatment.

She has been with the victim for 7 years, and they lived together for two years. She planned to get married, but decided to break up due to differences in wedding and values.

The defendant claimed that she committed the crime impulsively and without premeditation.

The judge questioned that the defendant made lemon tea, and as a nurse, she knew that the injury to the neck was serious and fatal. The defense lawyer said that the defendant saw that the victim had a new wallet with a photo of the victim and a female colleague in it. This case was committed on impulse.
