A forest kindergarten, which has been discussed controversially for a long time in Alling, obviously does not meet with such great interest among potential users.
Alling – In a recent survey by the municipal administration, only 36 out of 61 families said they were interested in such a daycare center in the countryside.
Only nine mothers and fathers would need a place there in the coming year.
The overall response – 228 questionnaires were sent out – also remained low.

By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular
FFB newsletter.)
In view of these figures presented in the municipal council, several speakers advocated burying the project altogether.
"Just because an idea is nice doesn't make it right," said Thomas Muderlak (CSU).
The need has now been queried for the third time and a “clear statement” has been received for the third time.
There is definitely interest, Marina Nigl (ABV), on the other hand, interpreted the numbers, which were even more positive in the last survey.
At the time, the project had been shelved for cost reasons, and a municipal council working group was to work on a concept for the future facility.
As Mayor Stefan Joachimsthaler (CSU) noted, the parents were also asked online at the time to show interest in any case, even if there was no real need.
A majority of the municipal council did not want to finally clear the issue.
The survey is to be repeated in 2024.
