Yesterday, the patrols of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa organized five ration seizures against owners of violating activities.
The head of the Consumer Protection Division in the Directorate, Wissam Dakhlallah, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the seizures affected the two owners of Sarafis on the Damascus-Mahjah line, in violation of extra charges, and the owner of a foodstuff store in the town of Jabab in the northern countryside of Daraa, in violation of the lack of a commercial registry, and the owners of a detergent store in the Al-Sabil neighborhood in the city of Daraa, and a foodstuff store in the city of Al-Sanamayn, for a violation related to the lack of regular invoices.
Dakhlallah said: Consumer protection agents are deployed in the markets to control violations, calling on citizens to register their complaints by calling the number (119).
